I chose this hotel for attending a team retreat and it was a great choice. The rooftop terrace provided a peaceful and scenic environment for our meetings. The meeting room was well-equipped and the staff was helpful with tour and ticket assistance.
The only thing I missed for my work was a reliable and fast Wi-Fi connection.

Convenient location near shops and restaurants, with easy access to attractions. Well-decorated interior and functional amenities. Friendly staff, despite language barrier. Good heating and ample hot water. Nearby supermarket for additional needs.

Friendly staff. Cute architecture. Quiet room. Relaxing atmosphere.
Wifi did not work in my room. Had to go to downstairs to the courtyard and it was very slow. Bathroom had musky smell after taking shower. Quite a walk from train station.

This hotel had lots of character. There are lovely courtyards and places to enjoy the sunshine. Our twin room was very spacious and comfortable.

Nothing negative to mention.

Off a main street that has some shops and restaurants.
Bathroom had black mold growing all over the shower, room smelled of cigarettes and street is really loud and noisy. Groups of people hanging right outside our door and window all night till 5 in the morning yelling and talking, and smoking.

The room at Pensión San Joaquín was cozy and comfortable. I loved the air conditioning, which was a relief from the hot weather. Plus, the free WiFi was super fast and reliable. It made it easy for me to stay connected with my friends and family.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the TV in the room. I prefer exploring the city and immersing myself in the culture rather than watching TV.

The location of Pension San Joaquin was perfect for exploring the city. We were able to walk to all the main attractions and there were also convenient bus connections nearby. The interior gardens and paintings added a beautiful touch to the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and leave our luggage. The room itself was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location and value.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, and the room provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, within walking distance to everything, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast menu could be improved with more variety and options.

The hotel had a beautiful traditional building with a quaint courtyard, just like in the pictures. The location was great, being close to the old city, shops, and the market. the rooms were comfortable and clean.
The hotel lacked in a few areas. The Wi-Fi in the rooms was very poor, making it frustrating to use.

I recently stayed at Pension San Joaquin for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff, although limited in English, were incredibly friendly and always eager to assist. The hotel's beautifully decorated garden and corridors were a highlight of my stay, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel provided a quiet environment perfect for relaxation. I highly recommend staying here for a unique and pleasant experience.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
